Movie Review

I thought this movie was very interesting and informing. I feel like a gained a lot of new knowledge because of the fact that steroids and performance enhancers are not talked about a lot in classrooms. One thing I really enjoyed about this movie was the fact that there were lots of different sides and opinions on one topic. Also, the movie had interviews with individuals who take steroids and can speak on it openly, so it really gives us a true perspective of a user and not just somebody who thinks they know all about the drugs. In addition to that, the movie had lots of information on the pros and cons of these drugs and aren’t biased to one side so it makes it clear to hear and see out both sides of the argument. I know a couple close friends of mine who take steroids for muscle building because they workout a lot and i’ve never judged or not liked because of it. I personally don’t ever see myself using these types of enhancers but I definitely can see why someone would want too. I think that these drugs should only be used by adults over a certain age, because kids have enough testosterone already so I don’t see why they would want to inject or take in a synthetic version. I feel like nowadays when people hear that great athletes were accused or convicted of taking steroids while they played they are all shunned. This is so wrong because although they did take a banned substance, these drugs don’t make you a superhero. Like these athletes are already great at what they do and just one injection or pill isn’t going to make them superman. But on the other hand, I do see why people would be mad because they did cheat in a way but its not like they did it in the worst possible way. I believe that people who use steroids just to get INSANELY huge are the people that end up having major problems in life. They also just look stupid becusse no normal human being is going to have biceps the size of a watermelon so it looks quite ridioulous.
